If you were to get really sick you might as well declare bankruptcy as you will be covered for catastrophic illness at only 70% . Currently I contribut approx 12,000 per year. / 1000 per month for my coverage. Which is the lowest cost option they offer. You will learn a lot working at this company - right now I am looking to get out secondary to prohibitive contribution to health insurance. I am actually afraid to use the plan as I would not be able to pay back the copays and reaching the family and personal deductible which is 6000 individual and 12000 family. Before the insurance kicks in at 70/30 contribution.
