Pros

flexible hours a plus -ethical company -lowest pay in the industry though when you figure what you are being charged for health insurance coverage which is equal to Obamacare Insurance. If you were to get really sick you might as well declare bankruptcy as you will be covered for catastrophic illness at only 70% . Currently I contribut approx 12,000 per year. / 1000 per month for my coverage. Which is the lowest cost option they offer. You will learn a lot working at this company - right now I am looking to get out secondary to prohibitive contribution to health insurance. I am actually afraid to use the plan as I would not be able to pay back the copays and reaching the family and personal deductible which is 6000 individual and 12000 family. Before the insurance kicks in at 70/30 contribution.

Cons

By far the lowest pay in the industry though when you figure what you as an employee are being charged for health insurance coverage which is equal to Obamacare Insurance! If you were to get really sick you might as well declare bankruptcy as you will be covered for catastrophic illness at only 70% . Currently I contribut approx 12,000 per year. / 1000 per month for my coverage. Which is the lowest cost option Genesis offers. You will learn a lot working in rehab at this company - but right now I am looking to get out secondary to prohibitive contributions to health insurance program ( Blue cross of PA) and I am actually afraid to use the plan as I would not be able to pay back the copays while I am trying to reach the family and personal deductible which is 6000 individual and 12000 family. Before the insurance kicks in at 70/30 contribution!

Pros

Good benefit package including holiday pay and vacation time. The coworkers seem to care more about each other than some jobs.

Cons

No consistency in management. Very little employee appreciation. They care more about the money going out than what is needed for their residents a lot of the time.
