Pros

Flexibility let’s start times, days that you work

Cons

Hiring team not upfront about true responsibilities and work atmosphere. Was told I could be working at 8 to 430, no holidays, no weekends. When I started, I was told if you take off a holiday you would have to make it up on the weekend. I was also told no residence will work with you at 8 AM so I would wait to come in till later in the morning. Depending on the residence at the independent living facility you may not start when you want to start, lots of refusals and working around their schedule, not your own. Ended up being there much later than anticipated every night of the week, productivity requirements were impossible.

Hello, Thank you immensely for taking the time to share your candid feedback with us. We're incredibly sorry to hear that you did not receive the support you deserved as a new team member. While our process to request feedback in your first few weeks of hire is recent, this does not excuse what you've shared, that we failed to connect with you to learn how we could better support you in your new role. I'm so deeply sorry that this was your experience. Our ongoing goal for our culture and our staff is to create an experience where everyone can thrive at all levels of care. What you've shared here is incredibly helpful, as it includes the exact context I need to directly follow up on your concerns in order to better meet this goal. I've connected with the appropriate teams, and again, sincerely appreciate you sharing these difficult details of your experience. If you have absolutely any additional insights you'd like to share, please do not hesitate to participate in your exit interview process. This process allows us to connect with you 1:1 if needed to provide you with additional support, even as a former Powerback employee. If you'd like to participate, please keep an eye out for an email sent to your personal email address that was on file during your time at Powerback. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us what steps we needed to take to better serve you and support you– this feedback is incredibly important to us, and we take it seriously. Thank you again for your review– we sincerely wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. --Aimee, Marketing Specialist

Pros

Working with pts and making a difference in their quality of life

Cons

-routinely asked to work outside scope of practice ( carry out progress notes and discharges independently as well as complete all documentation including assessment and reasons for skilled therapy) with concerns being minimized and dismissed -assigned pts outside scope of competency with concerns for pt care and safety being dismissed and gaslighted until escalated to upper management (who also did not offer practical or ethical solution) -"training" in the form of mere shadowing required unexpectedly in entirely different specialty at reduced pay rate -inadequate support and communication from "supervising" PTs -disorganized, overwhelmed management -told they wanted to "provide support" while continuing to provide no or inadequate support -supervisors never reported known positive patient feedback -referrals generated not tracked or acknowledged

many job opportunities due to staff leaving

Restricted use of earned PTO as a whole department PT/OT/ST and not due to limited coverage. Staff burn out when unable to use earned PTO. Area Director out of touch with employee satisfaction/dissatisfaction. Daily group and concurrent expectations. Horrible Health benefits
