Pros

Team is made up of caring people who want the best for the patients.

Cons

Benefits are horrible No holidays No raises PTO is nice but they don’t let you ever use it. No 401 K match Senior Managers are out of touch. Make dumb decisions and then blame therapists as to why they aren’t making money. Upper management doesn’t care about patients and put blame on everyone below them Minimal opportunity for advancement

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback on your unique POV at Powerback. We're incredibly sorry to hear that you have had a less than stellar experience with us, and we would like to provide some clarity to help you fully understand the "why" behind our policies and procedures. Regarding holidays: As a healthcare provider, rehab care is available 365 days a year. In 2016, we expanded our clinician Personal Hours to provide more flexibility around observed holidays and personal needs. Today, full-time Therapists and Assistants accrue up to 64 paid personal hours per year, based on hours worked. This change allows our teams the flexibility to choose days of observance based on their individual beliefs/interests rather than observing a set list of holidays. Regarding raises, we're incredibly sorry to hear that you feel raises are not possible at Powerback. We conduct an annual market analysis on our field-based positions to ensure our rates are competitive with those of similar positions in the same markets. We review that analysis and determine appropriate increases based on that analysis. Regarding PTO: It's our intention to work with staff to allow time away from work. At Powerback, it's important to note that we must do this while ensuring that there is proper staffing to meet all patient care needs in a given time period. Regarding 401k Matching: Please note that as of December 19th, 2023, we've updated our benefit policy to address 401k matching. After evaluating our benefits and compensation packages, we've found that now is the perfect time for us to adjust our policies regarding 401k matching to ensure we're providing the best support possible for Powerback staff. For more details on this update, please feel free to contact our dedicated HR solutions center via the HR page on the Rehab Central intranet. We're committed to creating a work environment that allows every Powerback team member to thrive at all levels of care, and we hope that these shared resources and responses help clarify the rationale behind our policies. However, we know that a simple review response may not answer all of your questions or address all of your concerns. We would like to encourage you to share any additional thoughts, ideas, and feedback with Carl during one of his weekly CEO open office hour meetings. Many of the best ideas to improve Powerback come directly from staff like you, and we'd love to hear your thoughts from your unique POV. If you'd like to participate, you can find more information on these open office hour meetings on your Powerback gmail calendar. Again, thank you for sharing your feedback on your Powerback experience with our team. We appreciate your commitment to improving the lives you touch as a Director here at Powerback, and we sincerely hope you have a great day! --Aimee, Marketing Specialist

Pros

They have an online platform called Bonously where DORs, regionals and coworkers can give you points for good things done at work and you can cash out your points for a gift card etc. If you have a good DOR and a good work environment you can justify to yourself and overlook for a little why you are still working for a company who underpays you.

Cons

Group and concurrent are pushed on employees to benefit the companies finances not the patients . WiFi constant WiFi issues , equipments are old . It is difficult to get a raise .The only way to get a decent raise is to get new job . Losing contracts in buildings and being replaced by other companies seems like often.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your Powerback experience with our team. We're sorry you've left Powerback and wish you the best in your continued career. At Powerback, we conduct an annual market analysis on our field-based positions to ensure our rates are competitive with pay rates of similar positions in the same markets. That analysis is critical to help us approve and determine appropriate increases in a selected area. We're sorry to hear that you felt little support in numerous areas in your role here at Powerback. To further distinguish where we can improve overall and what you specifically believe we can do to better support you and those in similar roles like yours, I strongly suggest that you participate in our exit interview process. This process will allow you to further share detailed feedback from your POV and gives our team an opportunity to connect with you directly. If you're interested in participating in this voluntary process, communications will be sent to your personal email, which was on file during your time at Powerback. We sincerely appreciate your commitment to improving the lives you touched as a PT here at Powerback. Again, we wish you the best in your continued career and hope you have a great day! --Aimee, Marketing Specialist
