Pros

No pros at all...still looking for it

Cons

Don't value their employees, Don't offer raises for years, When they offer some type of a raise they take away some other benefit that they paid, ask them a question and management just goes silent instead of explaining their decision. Don't work for this company.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a candid review of your Powerback experience. Our team is incredibly sorry to hear that your experience has been less than stellar thus far, especially as a long-term team member. We're sorry to hear that you felt little support in your role here at Powerback. To further distinguish where we can improve overall and what you specifically believe we can do to better support you and those in similar roles like yours, I'd strongly suggest that you participate in a unique support resource Powerback offers all employees. We'd love to hear further feedback, solutions, or ideas to improve our benefits from your unique POV, and would highly encourage you to attend one of Carl's CEO open-office hour meetings. We sincerely want you to continue to succeed and feel supported here at Powerback, and we have found that this resource is an excellent tool for employees to further amplify their voices. Each Monday morning/afternoon, these open-door discussions allow the chance for everyone to share their feedback unique to their POV here at Powerback in an attempt to collaborate and create solutions wherever possible. If you're interested in participating, these invites can be found through your Powerback gmail calendar. Additionally, at Powerback, we encourage an open-door approach to problem-solving, meaning that if your manager does not directly provide the assistance you need, other departments can be used as a resource. Your area director, HR representative, or DOR are your top resources for receiving direct support wherever you need it. Again, we are incredibly sorry that your experience has been frustrating, and we hope the provided resource helps to make this right. As a PRN team member, your contributions are invaluable to improving the lives we touch, and we sincerely appreciate your efforts. Thank you, and we hope you have a great day. --Aimee, Marketing Specialist

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We value all of our staff and are constantly striving to create the best possible working environment for everyone. We're sorry to hear that your experience with Powerback has been less than stellar. I'd like to share some helpful context regarding your concerns, to help you understand a bit of the "why" behind our policies here at Powerback that you may not have known before. As a healthcare provider, rehab care is available 365 days a year. In 2016, we expanded our clinician Personal Hours to provide more flexibility around observed holidays and personal needs. Today, full-time Therapists and Assistants accrue up to 64 paid personal hours per year, based on hours worked. This change allows our diverse teams the flexibility to choose days of observance based on their individual beliefs/interests rather than following a strict, inflexible schedule of holiday dates. Beginning in 2023, full-time and part-time, non-exempt gym/center-based staff (this includes Powerback Rehabilitation To You staff) will be compensated for any hours worked on Thanksgiving Day. Overtime opportunities are assessed on a facility-to-facility level, and supervisors approve overtime scheduling based on patient and business needs. If there is no ample need for this scheduling type at a particular location as determined by a supervisor, overtime opportunities may not be offered at a certain facility. In regards to our productivity standards, we're sorry to hear that you have not felt supported in your role. We encourage you to participate in Carl's CEO open-office hour meetings which occur each Monday morning/afternoon. These meetings are available for all staff to propose ideas, discuss concerns, or highlight opportunities for Powerback to improve from their own unique POV within your role. We've found that this resource has been an excellent tool for employees to further amplify their voices, as we want you to feel supported in your role here at Powerback. These invitations can be found through your Powerback gmail calendar. Again, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Your valuable insights will allow our teams to strengthen our goal to improve every life we touch. We sincerely hope that this feedback is helpful and that you have a great day! --Aimee, Marketing Specialist

Pros

Great rehab team Flexible work hours

Cons

No raises in over 5 years They take away PTO/vacation days They made it harder to accrue time off They only care about their bottom line They give you 2 paid holidays and tell you that you can only take 3 days off around Thanksgiving and Christmas… with the holiday being included as 1 of the 3 days (despite the fact that it is an actual paid holiday). Minimal minimal compensation during the pandemic… making you use your own PTO/ vacation when you were not allowed to work if you came in contact with someone who tested positive while at work (understandable if this was outside of work). The lack of proper pay for therapists.
