Flexible scheduling, lots of opportunity to work overtime since they're so understaffed

Cons

Understaffed, doing work thats not in your job description, admin doesn't care for their employees, poor moral, major safety concerns, low pay, no communication between admin and staff

Pros

Work with knowledgeable therapist. Good team work among therapist and nursing staff. That’s about it. Everything else is bad starting from the management.

Cons

They will work you like a dog. Management don’t care. You can have 16-18 patient in one day because they will not hire a PRN for coverage. You better know when you like to take your vacation because you will have to sign up your vacation 3 months ahead of time.

Great team, great pay, not the best setting

Good pay Great coworkers Benefits offered Always got hours by the end of the week Regional director very personable and seems to care about what is going on in locations

Cons

Time off has to be requested months in advance CEUs are mostly live and not user friendly Shortage of staff. Registered therapists often had a very large workload Contract states only 35 hours per week for full time Work hours unpredictable (but that’s the nature of SNF work) During & after a snow storm, many employees snowed in or unable to drive safely to work, Genesis sent an email stating you are required to complete your hours no matter the circumstances-came across threatening. Nursing & Therapy relationship very strained
