Great company to work for with excellent benefits. Professional atmosphere, compliant with rules and regulations. All workers are treated with respect and given growth opportunities. Most of all you can enjoy working here.

Not really a con but you have to do an honest job, be a good team worker, and be professional if you want to succeed here.

Great place to start

Pros

Great benefits (even for pets!), reasonable salary, generous vacation and sick time, summer fridays, very friendly coworkers

Cons

If you’re in your 20s, you’re probably one of the youngest people here and you probably work in customer service. The majority of people are in their 30s and 40s. Not a huge con, but don’t expect to go out for drinks with your coworkers if you’re under 30 AND you’re not a manager.

PLI is very proud of the generous benefits that we offer and we are so glad to hear that you enjoy them! Thank you for your feedback about requesting opinions from our staff. We certainly do want to hear from employees of all levels. As a reminder, we have suggestion boxes located throughout the office along with a suggestion email account. Both are reviewed weekly by our President and VP, HR, so please share your ideas, many of which we have already acted on. We want our employees to feel challenged, engaged and happy at work, so we encourage everyone to talk with their managers often regarding how PLI can help them be best at their jobs. Professional goals and employee suggestions are topics that are also included for discussion during the various formal performance review processes that take place several times each year. If you are not comfortable speaking with your manager you are always welcome to talk with HR for advice. We appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
