Pros

Working for PLI, you represent the Gold standard of legal and compliance education. Particularly for a sales professional, the brand recognition goes a long way. Across departments, the people here reflect that excellence, in that they truly care about the product they are creating, selling etc. Additionally, those in upper management/HR truly care about their employees and have placed a strong emphasis on developing a positive, employee-focused culture in the recent months. The President always has an open door and wants to ensure our team is happy and ultimately has the tools necessary to be successful. With recent creation of internal training programs (time management, customer service, etc) there are opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

PLI is a small company, which sometimes can mean less growth opportunities or resources for things like SEO optimization. Sales team also has capped compensation.

The company encourages participation and input from employees at all levels. It's on the cutting edge of legal education and employees are very engaged, friendly and collaborative. Great work life balance and terrific benefits. New office space.

Cons

Salary less than for profit companies, but work life balance is better.

Pros

Friendly colleagues and room for advancement

Cons

Hours are strictly business. Lots more could be accomplished if when there are not seminars working from home is an option.
