Pros

Have been @ Pragmatics for over 5 years -- and have seen progressive improvement in everything. The company seemed to be lost a little while ago but has found itself. Enjoying working with management again.

Cons

The same people are stretched too thin consistently -- need to trust other employees / train other employees to fill gaps

I did not like the vacation, health benefits changed for the worst.

Thank you for your comments. We do value education and offer a number of resources and programs that our employees use to further develop their skills. At our size, we still have the friendly feel of a family business while also having the resources of a larger mid-tier company. A little over a year ago, we did make some adjustments to our benefits to maintain our competitive position in the marketplace. Annually, we evaluate our benefits and compensation system to ensure at or above industry benchmarks.

Pros

Pragmatics is my first private sector employee after 20 years of military service. Unlike many companies, they valued my experience and the values that I brought with me from my time in service. The company takes stock in its employees providing many training opportunities to help them reach their fullest potential. They also value promotion from within, when feasible, not limiting one to a specific job field. Hard work is both recognized and appreciated. Employees are treated with respect from the executives, you're not just another number with this company. They take time to get to know who you are, your goals, and look for ways in which they can help you reach them.

Cons

Because of my experiences with my managers, I have none at that time.
