Pros

Precept is a unique wine company in how it's structured, as it's really vertical and pretty lean compared to larger, publicly traded wine companies. Have a good idea or solution to a problem? Any officer including the CEO will pick up the phone or call you back. Want a winemaker to join you for a wine dinner or a presentation? Call them. Talented people who are willing to work hard, go headfirst in the game possibly taking some bumps and bruises along the way will move ahead. Grit wins. Being unique and loyal is important.

Cons

Pay is competitive but less than larger companies. An employee has to be willing to be flexible and put up with some chaos along the way. You have to be self motivated, which is not really a con unless you are not so.

Precept Wine is full of great people passionate about wine, business, and one another. We are innovative and agile which helps us to be one of the fastest growing wine companies in the US. We focus on people's strengths to grow and succeed. We rally one another and celebrate the wins - give credit to who deserves it! We get to taste lots of different wines from around the world to help build our palates and help us learn more about the industry.
