Disrespect and Lack of Communication

Pros

-Flexible time but huge lack of work life balance. Sure, you can come in anytime as long as you get your work done, but you wont be able to complete your work until 12-15 hours later. This is largely due to tight deadlines and assays that take 8 hours and then additional 4 hours to complete QC which is ridiculous. All of the tasks along with 8 hour experiments will have to be completed within the same day. Unrealistic and stressful!

Cons

-Lack of communication from all departments -Tight deadlines that are impossible to meet and always delayed. Clients will never get their projects finished on time as promised, ever! -Upper management has always been trying new micro managing techniques. Every employee I've talked to moaned and groaned whenever there are new methods to control their workers. -Nothing seems exciting as it used to be once Anita left the company.

Old crew and new shop

Pros

Not a single thing other than the guiding principles that no one really follows.

Cons

This is just another company created by Mark and Ethan, and with them came a few people from their old shop. Maybe they know, maybe they don't, but there is a grouping of those people and unless you fall into the crew, good luck. Getting a yearly review is a joke, and promotions are only to the favorites. Managers want things done their way, and regardless if you provide evidence of otherwise, you will not enjoy the environment. Don't be fooled of them saying they have done it before they will do it again. Most of those senior positions never had to deal with such a large business before and it shows. Waisting more time fixing issues that did not need to occur and wasted money where it matters the most.
