      Pros

      Most people in the company are very nice. Campus is beautiful, their culture and values seem to be in line with what you would expect from a health insurance company.

      Cons

      Management is very poor and unorganized. It is making the shift in U.S. healthcare very hard.

      Pros

      Benefits - health insurance, pension, 401k Telecommuting is encouraged due to lack of space. Onsite cafeteria is nice as you don't have to leave campus.

      Cons

      IT using stone age tools in some areas, very slow to upgrade tools and hardware, Some management is very frustrating to deal with as they are never present and do not pay attention to what their own staff is doing on an operational basis. Everything is about getting the annual bonus. If it's not on someone's annual plan, it probably won't happen. Work/life balance does not exist in some parts of IT. Poor annual planning of initiatives followed by employees giving up vacation time, evenings and weekends.

      Pros

      Great employee benefits, pay is incredibly high and people get promoted without jobs even posted.

      Cons

      Takes 10 years to get advancement, HR is not there to support you and apparently new rules have been put into that place that has turned it into a daycare. No one and I mean no one makes decisions without having 25 meetings. Too much wasted time.
