Pros

Flexible per diem status. pick your days and shifts. Better pay than most other EMS agencies, still low but that's a systemwide issue. Good introductory healthcare experience. Some 911 options

Cons

IFT is boring but again, that's just the field. No major complaints though it's not a terrible place to work. Supervisors are super chill.

People have 0 accountability with patient care. They don’t do the job and management sucks.

Good equipment and decent pay.

Pros

You get OT after the 8 hours and you can pick up shifts pretty easily. The equipment is normally pretty new too.

Cons

You don't know for when you will be off and you can be screwed over on a late call that will take you way past your expected off time.
