Pros

Some nice coworkers, young atmosphere, few nice dispatchers, new equipment

Cons

Terrible management. Supervisors and higher ups don’t care about you at all. The supervisor in San Diego plays favorites and it goes noticed by all employees, making us all feel unwelcome. I have not heard one other employee say something good about our supervisor, unless they are one of their favorites. They give you lunch an hour after being on shift, and when you work an 11 hour shift you're just sitting there doing nothing until they you the next lunch. Call volume is extremely slow. Management will not support you through any issues that may arise, instead they will get mad at you. There is a huge separation between Brea and San Diego and the way the employees are treated in these regions. The turn over rate is huge and I have seen so many employees come and go because of the lack of care from the supervisor. Also, if you have tattoos you will have to struggle in the heat because they have to be covered. Meanwhile you walk into a hospital and all the nurses and staff have visible tattoos. They talk about high standards, but really they just want their corporation to succeed, they don’t actually want anything to do with you. If you’re a girl working in San Diego, forget about being treated kindly. I’ve seen them being treated poorly because the supervisor loves the boys that work there. Other men in the workplace have mentioned that they notice it too.
