Premier has all the pluses of a small company with some drawbacks
Pros
It's a small company. So it's very flexible. If you are working in big bank and is tired of applying band-aid solutions to the legacy behemoth application you are supporting and you would like some change, Premier is the place to be. Premier is joined at the hip with Microsoft so you have access to everything Azure has to offer. It's a good opportunity to learn something new.
Cons
It's a small company but the bureaucracy can sometimes get out of hand. The knowledge level and management skills of the business is a bit lacking. The priorities get shuffled around a lot. Some of the business process solutions can be baffling. There is a Business Analyst org to help with this but they are more of 'order takers' than coordinators. The technical talent can be inferior to bigger companies. Premier cannot pay for top-shelf talent so most of them are from the bottom of the barrel.
