Pros

I've had an exceptional experience with PRS. I started as part-time contract merchandiser and worked up through the channels to be a full-time salaried training manager. I've met many great people working with PRS and this is a great company if you are looking to meet new people and network as being in the field or managing a field team will allow you to network on a daily basis. The biggest reason for my success is the fact that my work ethic and hardworking demeanour was actually noticed at PRS. The upper management on the Canada side of PRS is absolutely amazing. I can safely say that I have many mentors that I touch base with daily, weekly and monthly whom are invested into seeing me succeed. PRS is also great because they are a growing company that is picking up many new clients on a regular basis. This is great in case a specific client pulls out of their contract as there are many positions that are always needing to be filled. PRS values their employees, and works hard to keep them happy. I would and have recommend this company to anyone I care about as PRS is one of the best third party logistic companies to work for in Canada.

Cons

The biggest con in this company would be that you would have to express your own interest in growing. There are a lot of positions with this company so if you wish to grow you must let your direct manager know as there are many people that work multiple jobs, or have other priorities who may not be interested in growth. Pay rate is industry standard, obviously more would always better. Pay rate is also dependant on the client. I would prefer a quarterly bonus to ensure that I am doing a good job. These PRS requires you to be self motivated, and organized as most work will require you to make your own schedule within the companies time frame. If you cannot micromanage and cannot manage your spare time, this may not be the best fit. I would also like to see more perks (car allowance) throughout all clients as PRS positions are client dependant. Another perk that would be nice would be an opportunity to purchase some of the products carried by our extensive list of clients at a discounted price. Like an employee discount on products that different devisions in our company represent. Overall, great company to work for.

Pros

Will keep you very busy and it will become more than a FT job

Cons

To keep a 98% in your market, you have to work more than 8 hours a day. Most weekends and you are subject to work up to 60-70 hours a week. Salary is good but average when you add the hours worked to get the 98%
