Pros

- Lots of opportunity for new business and growth within clients, and across clients - Pay is very competitive along with mileage compensation across Third Party Logistics Companies - Has been highly successful in gaining some big name clients to their portfolio because of the great work they do - Opportunity to work from home where remote - Toronto Office for those local to TO for Corp Employees (culture - group events & socials) - Are a preferred vendor by Big Box Retailers so they are receptive to visits and you - Flexibility with schedules as long as deadlines are met - Invaluable Management experience as well as working F2F with Fortune 500 Clients which includes working from those clients office and opportunity to move in house

Cons

- Growth and opportunities will depend on new business and growth of the current client you work with (same as other 3PLs) - Similar to any new company, bumps with implementing procedures and policies in the beginning - With this business, lots of changes since it is a Client Facing business, so should be adaptive and receptive to change (on the fly) - Bumps with dealing with HR, Payroll, and Recruiting process across US Corp office and Can Corp office (Recruiters and HR can be localized in US, and may have mixed messaging) - Soft skill training could use some improvement in comparison to other 3PLs

Pros

Management value experience and promote from inside as opposed to looking outside. Very positive working atmosphere, flexible hours and lots of challenges.

Cons

The work conditions and salary are determined by the program you're working on. On occasions, you can't apply on other positions since you need to be in your current position for at least 12 months.
