Pros

I have been an employee of PrimePay for over two years now and can’t say enough about how much I enjoy working for this company. I came to PrimePay looking for two things – to be challenged professionally and to be respected as a collaborative business partner. Both of which, I have received since day one. Leadership is very important to me, since we know, “people don’t quit jobs, they quit bosses”. The level of respect that I have for my direct manager, the management team I support, and our CEO, is off the charts. They ALL collectively make me feel that my thoughts and ideas matter, and have many times put those thoughts/ideas into action. Everyone across the board, including our CEO Bill Pellicano, is extremely hands-on and approachable. Aside from the leadership team, it’s also a pleasure working with peers who respect one another, come to work with a positive attitude and have integrity in what they do – it makes all the difference in the world. Company culture and employee engagement is another huge factor in why I enjoy working here so much. PrimePay encourages a community-like atmosphere with many initiatives that promote positive social change. They offer state-of-the-art training programs, a leadership development program, initiatives for Veterans in Business, community service opportunities, and other engagement activities to promote inclusion. I really enjoy participating in these initiatives/activities and meeting other employees in the organization. On a personal note, I had my first child this year and was out on maternity leave for a few months over the summer. For anyone who has experienced this, it can be an exciting, yet nerve-wracking time. I will forever appreciate the fact that during this time, my manager and the rest of the leadership team focused on me. I was treated like a human being and supported throughout the whole experience, rather than feeling like just a vacant seat for three months. My transition back was smooth and seamless, and since then, I've really appreciated the work/life balance that this company offers.

Cons

As it relates to the employee engagement initiatives I mentioned above, I'd love to see even more participation from staff members when these initiatives occur. It's a great way to meet other co-workers across the organization that you may not see regularly, especially if you work in different locations. I encourage all staff members here at PrimePay to get involved, interact with other departments more frequently, and break out of their comfort zones (especially when PrimePay provides the means to do it!)

Pros

Great company to work for to get your foot in the door.

Cons

The company does not do enough outside of the company to make you motivated. I would have loved more volunteer opportunities, or opportunities to bond with the other departments. For a call center environment, it was very segregated.
