Pros

I was in disbelief when I read the majority of the negative reviews/ comments on this site. Because, the CEO/Owner Mr. William Pellicano is a great man with a generous and kind heart. When the economy was struggling a few years back, Mr. Pellicano and other CEO's all made a wise decision to cut back on cost within the company on other areas as needed instead of laying off employees. You rarely do you come across good CEO's like this the ones here at PrimePay. When I read the negative comments about "Nepotism", I was in shock. Here's my thought about this..Who wouldn't want to work for a company that believes in the loyalty and bond of family and friends? If you work hard to build a company over the years, who are the people you would trust the most to hire to help you grow and make the company a success? Correct.. Family and Friends. You see, for those of you who were quick to judge with their negative comments about Nepotism, all of you would probably do the exact same thing as Mr. Pellicano. His success is due to this quote he stated not too long ago, "I didn't know anything other than hard work would pay off ". With that said, he integrated this philosophy as part of his company's mission "212" The Extra Degree which coincides with his own values and work ethics. I have been employed with PrimePay for 8 years. In addition, throughout my 8 years, I have personally observed many sales representatives who did not put forth the extra effort or hard work in order to continue their employment with PrimePay in which they were all given many chances to progress but, failed to do so. As we all know, what you put in is what you get out of it. If you work hard, you'll earn the rewards for your efforts. If you lack the efforts and hard work, the negative results will reflect in your sales numbers. Therefore, you'll earn nothing but the base salary offered. This company gives you every opportunity to succeed and when you don't within a specific time frame like any other company, you have to let them go in order to continue to stay above and beyond the competitors. Especially, in the Payroll business which is a " cut throat" type of industry. For those of you who are seeking for employment, If you decide you want to join The PrimePay Company, then make sure that you come here with an opened mind, positive attitude, a goal driven mentality to thrive with success, strong work ethics above and beyond the norm, then you'll have nothing to worry about. I am not related nor am I a friend of the CEO or anyone within the company. However, all I can say is, I have earned the trust from upper management as if I were a family member or friend. I was entrusted to help uphold the IL office throughout the years. I've experienced from the day I was hired back in 2007 til the present, that everyone that works for PrimePay is considered as part of the extended PrimePay Family. We all come together in times of need. In short, if you follow Mr. Pellicano's Values and Work Ethics, then you'll reap the rewards as a result of your efforts and hard work same as he did to become a successful business owner. There are many employees that have been promoted quickly within this company not by who they know or by favoritism but due to their efforts, dedication and loyalty within the company. Therefore, please consider applying for employment opportunities here at PrimePay to be part of the dynamic growth and success of The PrimePay Family. Good Luck and God Bless to everyone!! :-)

Cons

Benefits. However, the VP of HR has been diligently working throughout the years on areas for improvement on the benefits offered. Also, after thorough research, I discovered that PrimePay's benefits is comparable with most companies benefits due to the major overhaul change on the Health Care System. In other words, those good old days when we all had cost effective/excellent benefits, is no longer in existence at most companies like it used to be. Therefore, we cannot hold the companies at fault for the hike in rates offered to employees.
