The company hired me about one month later, laid me and 24 other people off due to a “budget mistake” they made. They have to be going bankrupt. Empty industrial building. Lots of angry employees forced to come back into office full time with no flexibility even though when they were hired they were told they are only remote. No consistency whatsoever and lack of empathy on how they affect especially since their pricy lifestyles remain untouched.

There used to be a hybrid schedule and now that flexibility has been taken away and we are back at the office 5 days per week. However, this only seems to apply to half the employees at corporate as everyone else continues to work from home. There should be a hybrid schedule for all corporate employees.
