Room for professional growth (if you are open to management roles)

Cons

Many roles within the hospital and outpatient clinics deserve pay that is not "standard" for that profession: higher workload, hazardous drug handling, high risk patients, and many others are paid in the same tier as their colleagues with lower risk roles.
