Pros

I am incredibly excited for the potential of this company. I have only be here about 2 months and the opportunities are already starting to roll in. I immediately felt welcomed from the first day. I had the pleasure of being trained by some of the best supervisors I have ever had. This allowed me to get a great jump on learning how the business works and showcase my skillset to help better the company. I could not ask to work for a better company. It does not matter if you have been here for years or hired a week ago. Your voice will be heard by your coworkers and top management. Company wide discussion is highly encouraged and everyone works together to better our product on a daily basis. Time truly flies by when you are working. It does not even feel like "work". I get to enjoy watching the sports I love and learn more about sports I have not had the same level of exposure too. There is much knowledge and experience to learn from here. If you are looking for a youthful and highly promising start up company to work for then there is no doubt in my mind this is the company for you. We pride ourselves on giving the highest quality of customer service in the entire industry with our own "southern hospitality" flare. You will be recognized for your good work. There is no end in sight for PrizePicks and the trajectory of success of this company is exponential. -Great work/life balance -Lots of room for growth -Great communication -Ton of support -Flexible hours -Who doesn't love getting paid to watch the sports they love?

Cons

None. This company is on the fast track to success in their industry.

Pros

I joined PrizePicks three years ago and have enjoyed working here through the good and bad (nba shutdown). The company has matured rapidly since 2018 and I believe is one of the best startups currently in Atlanta. The office culture pre-pandemic is also a huge pro. It was not uncommon to have everyone agree to a cookout at 3 pm, get groceries by 4 and start grilling at 5. The free beer wasn't too bad of a perk either. Finally, the projects and data sets tackled here are extremely interesting. With the changing landscape of DFS (plus the tangentially related gaming space) and PrizePick's growth, every week bring a new and exciting challenge.

Cons

The company has grown by leaps and bounds since 2018 (when there were just 5 employees). The only downside of this is a few operational inefficiencies. I believe this can be easily fixed with a solid operations manager. I also believe that people who are more reserved will have difficulty acclimating here. As new systems and datasets come online, it is imperative to reach out to other departments with questions and feedback.
