      Great co-workers, awesome night shift house supervisors!

      Cons

      Upper level management does not care about patient safety, safe staffing levels or staff satisfaction or retention. If an employee brings a safety issue to the attention of "leadership", the employee's complaint is disregarded and, in many cases, the employee is unofficially "blacklisted".

      Reasonable benefits, reasonable leadership. Management is treated well by the organization.

      Cons

      Below industry average IT salaries. New IT employees are brought in at higher salaries than existing employees. Nearly all IT employees are salaried exempt and are expected to provide on-call support without additional compensation.

      Pros

      Many decent benefits and always looking to improve the work/life balance of its' employees promedica has kept me from wanting to look onward to other companies. I have looked and honestly its hard to find a better job in my field with same level of reduced stress.

      Cons

      The pay isn't really as good as other places, but once you add up the retirement benefits and consider the crazy amount of time off you get its worth budgeting a little tighter at home.
