A great Director of Human Resources.

Cons

- an inexperienced and dangerously un-supportive management team. - a lack of training for employees No cohesive policy manuals. - a management that thinks it's employees should somehow 'know' policy without training. A management team that seems to intentionally keep it's employees un-informed of information that potentially could help their employees be more efficient and feel safer. - a cavalier attitude toward HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliance. - A corporate culture that does not promote peer to peer support. - meager pay.

Great access to a rich diversity of client population with challenging psychiatric conditions. Excellent environment to polish your individual and group counseling skills You will not find any other settings where you can do so many diverse groups with clients this will allow you to develop awesome counseling skills. Great staff satisfaction If you love counseling, and has a passion for counseling, you will love this job.

Cons

If you are pursuing a License, you will need to secure and pay yourself for Supervision services towards your licensure. The pay is not the most attractive factors of this job.

Pros

Lots of great experience...you get more responsibility with less education than anywhere else in mental health. Basically well managed.

Cons

Lots of challenges with clients. Be prepared to learn about yourself, or don't work there. In other companies there is room for growth for dedicated employees...not so here. MFT and LCSW are the only steps forward.
