Pros

This is one of the greatest jobs for developing excellent individual and team skills working with individuals, groups and families work in an inpatient setting. The above applies to staff and management. Clients level of engagement and participation in the program surpasses any other inpatient setting.

Cons

Management is on call 7 x 24 every three weeks and staff is expected to do one or two overnights as part of their weekly schedule. The overnights can be great if they fit your life demands but they can be challenging for some people. Staff rotates as a group their schedule at least twice a year. Pay is not as hight as the County but the quality of experience is unsurpassed by any other inpatient setting.
