The pros of this job is that management is pretty flexible and understanding. Also, can make your own schedule.

Cons

Pretty disorganized. Has so many different programs that function autonomously, that you have to learn the different policies of each.

great experience and exposure to the field of social work, crisis intervention, vulnerable population.

Cons

low quality of HR - incompetent, biased, unprofessional-. many higher ups lack the necessary education to work in such a field, and if not matched with proper PD, the job can become more of a babysitting affair contrasted to counseling. has an "old boys club" mentality, longer you stay more power and influence you have in the organization, despite lack of credibilities. some staff great, other staff flow a very cookie-cutter approach towards health-care services
