Pros

Progressive Insurance is an awesome place to work and I’ve been trying to get back for a while now. Their benefits are elite. Their bonuses are top tier. Despite making double what I made at my entry level Progressive job, my bonus is less than half of what it was at Progressive. Great culture, great leadership. I thoroughly enjoyed working at Progressive. Foolish me thought it was like that everywhere. I’ve worked at 2 other Fortune companies and none can even compete with Progressive.

Cons

Pay isn’t super competitive when looking at salary alone. I encourage people to look at the total comp package including a 6% 401K match, elite benefits, steady bonuses, generous PTO, and stability. I truly think all of this should be valued heavily and make the total comp package much, much more attractive and competitive with anyone.

Pros

Flexibility working from home, time off is t super difficult to get unless it’s a Blitz Day.

Cons

Heavy on the mental work load. Shift Bid can be difficult to get. Hard to get into other positions due to the STARR Method interview.
