Pros
Progression, amazing inclusive environment. I’m a remote employee so can’t say much about the in person offices but all of my managers, co-workers etc have all been great. Very solid benefits including medical. Nice knowing the quality of people that I too insure my car with
Cons
My cons are long but because I like and care for my company. Absolutely hyper about your “time modes” and being available. They say salaries but feels like hourly. The “Progressive Way” of being truly first for the customer, for short, is foremost no doubt. However, there seems to be a conflict of interest between taking all the time necessary to truly connect with and service a customer and how many policies are sold. No commission which I do like however the pace feels like a commission job. The quality demanded is extremely high which is very refreshing from such a large insurance company (but we can sound like robots) but the pay always seems just not quite enough for responsibility and quality put in. The difference between good and bad insurance is if you’re paid… that is determined by the quality work of the agents and making sure every stone is not left uncovered… don’t pay me the same as State Farm etc.
