Pros

Nice work environment, promotes inclusion, supports internal promotions, competitive salary.

Cons

Counterproductive procedures that result in unrealistic expectations and incredibly heavy workload on employees. Not accepting of suggestions for improvement. Inadequate organization requiring one person to do the work of 5 people. Insufficient training and resources to get questions answered to do your job correctly and efficiently. You will work 10-12 hours a day and weekends and will still never catch up on your work.

Pros

The people. I loved my co-workers. Very helpful community.

Cons

Leadership is out of touch with reality. Workload is too high to complete in a 49 hour work week. Salary workers are not compensated for extra hours. I was hired into a role which boasted a certain work load. Once in the role, I was told to, “ take cap out of my lexicon, work load was based on business need.” Over worked and underpaid.

- horrible work-life balance - Pay is not worth it run - High Stress - pointless coming into the office 1x a week - poor workload management and unrealistic expectations - 4 claims a day and disorganized training - more of a call center position vs an adjuster ( On the phone ALL day!)

Pros

You get to know all of the managers in the state, even if they work from the other claims office. They truly want you to do well, because they all started as claims adjusters, and they know how demanding the job can be. If they see you struggling, they will do everything they can to help you, short of doing your job for you. The adjusters who have been there a while are willing to help, but will also ask the newer reps questions on things they haven't run into before, or haven't seen in a while.

Cons

The workload can be heavy, especially during summer. They are working to try and get more staff, but it does take time. If you get behind it can be very hard to catch back up, and it can make it overwhelming. While the company and people are wonderful, the work load definitely is an issue.
