Not all it’s made out to be….

Pros

401k, benefits, ERGs, advancement within the company

Cons

Work life balance is preached, but not practiced. Pay is significantly below standard with a workload higher than average. This is somehow a badge of honor? The work environment borders toxic positivity as more time spent talking about how great it is than making it great.

Pros

The initial hourly pay before they switch you over to salary and have you work 50+hrs min and you will still be behind.

Cons

Unrealistic workload, poor training/onboarding, upper middle management suffers from stereotypical corporate disconnect, pay isn’t worth it once you move to salary as you will be working 50hrs minimum on basic workload, metrics are unrealistic and only exist as a form of control for outdated middle management, too much workload and too much micromanage, watched as the company culture and values shifts more and more to call center vibes.

Pros

The pay is decent and your work is meaningful helping insureds. Fully vested 401k right away.

Cons

Lots of liberal politics in the work place. Heavy workloads and poor training. There is a lack of support for employees. Medical benefits are terrible and the company is self insured.
