      Pros

      Proofpoint has a good story and good stock rewards because the stock price is high.

      Cons

      How you are treated/environment depends on which group you work in and which location. There is a lot of sexism and fear, which causes people to not always work well in supporting co-workers. Environment can be very political and territorial. There are a lot of agendas and bad behavior in upper/middle management. For group events, employees have to pay for everything. There's not even a small budget allowed for going away parties or to celebrate promotions. Almost half the company has not had a 1 year anniversary. You’re either a lifer or you don’t last very long.

      Pros

      Excellent Technology, Some REALLY smart people, dedicated believers and doers. Proofpoint does care about customer experience. Culture used to be the best, and still is within certain groups or people. Honest and ethical company

      Cons

      Cut territories and accounts so you can't make money. Don't feel like you can disagree or give constructive feedback to middle Management, they don't want to hear it, they don't want to rock the boat with their Mgr. Pressure to produce and do reports had taken over and squashed any fun that was there. Sales people need to have some fun! Thinking outside the box is not encouraged. Ridiculously Cheap Company

      Pros

      Fast growth, great customer base, cyber security is hot, decent pay, saw some progress the last year I worked there.

      Cons

      Retention and culture is an issue. Beware of nepotism, politics, egos with no merit and stale leadership team. Benefits and fringe are weak. Sadly, first time I worked with low EQ colleagues. A lot of negative energy and a lot of people quitting or managed out.
