Lost Its Culture. Don't Settle For This Company.
Pros
Used to be a brilliant company about winning together. Now it's all about how much the CEO and upper management can win at the cost of everyone else.
Cons
If you are thinking of joining Proofpoint, keep looking and stay very far away. Proofpoint used to value its employees, but the culture has changed drastically, and you don't want to be a part of it anymore. Sumit Dhawan came in and burned it all down. Almost immediately after joining, he implemented mandatory RTO, leaving people scrambling to find daycare and transportation to the office. The question of why RTO after so much success was raised many times, and there was never a satisfactory answer given. 280 employees were laid off with one day's notice. If you join, that could be you. The company is sinking itself. Do yourself a favour and don't get caught in it. I am gone.
