Pros
The pay was pretty good for comparable positions in the area. The benefits were also very good. That is about all the pros in my opinion.
Cons
There are so many things wrong with this company. It felt like every process within the company was broken and nothing was done to try to fix them. When suggestions were given to improve or better a process they were shot down immediately. My training experience was extremely frustrating. I was flown out to headquarters in California for training and had the impression there would be a rental car ready for me and there wasn't. The actual training itself was a joke. Nothing was ready for me. Myself and another coworker had to create our own training documents because there was no knowledge base for us to go off of. There was no work life balance whatsoever. In my interview process I was told I would rarely ever have to work late. Once I started I was consistently expected to work late. The company culture was horrible. Silicon slopes does not translate well here. We had one "team building" experience while I was there and only because a manager from headquarters came into town. We were told it was a team lunch but then were informed only shortly beforehand that we would have to pay our own way. My spouse works for another tech company in the area and they get free lunch almost every day. If you are looking for a job that is low stress than stay far away. If you are looking to lose weight due to stress then maybe this is for you. I lost a lot of weight while working here because of the stress. This is a churn and burn position. If you are looking to work for a tech company in Utah this is the last place you should look in my opinion.
