Pros

Good product. Company is doing very well financially.

Cons

Never felt so unappreciated as an employee. You are a wheel in the cog and have really no importance. The culture and office vibe is akin to a dentist office. Your success is entirely dependent on the quality of your territory. As the sales are completely channel, hope and pray that your channel partners know and like Proofpoint.

Strong HQ Leadership, Great Value Service. Multiple Products, Growing Security Market. Opportunity to continue lead the SaaS market. Good Press coverage.

Cons

Too many sales layers for opportunity base, not enough investment in local marketing, BDR and User Community. Core market is commoditized and product differentiation from major players is shrinking. Declining opportunity to overachieve.

Pros

Nice people, many senior managers do care about employees, free drinks.

Cons

Some employees are overworked, while some are definitely underutilized. Some managers are great, but unfortunately mine has no business leading people and others have quit because of this manager. Yet, the manager is good friends with a top executive so nothing can be done.
