Pros

The company's platform is very robust and always evolving. The atmosphere and culture are great. Every day I would look forward to coming to work not only because how awesome I think the platform is, but also because the people made it so much fun and exciting. The people at Proscape are always willing to pitch in and help, creating an excellent team environment. The ability to create numerous relationships with partners and clients is also very rewarding.

Cons

Sometimes I felt like I was being micro-managed over the smallest tasks. Other times, I felt like certain things were expected of me with little to no guidance on what was supposed to be expected. Overall though, it's a fun and challenging work environment so I can't really think of any cons other than the ones I mentioned.

Pros

Extremely intelligent team as well as super fun. Recent transitions have transformed the company to be more innovative and think design forward which has been a great improvement.

Cons

At times when there's a lot of pressure, there's a tendency to scramble to finish up projects without it being up to par.

Pros

You get to work on diverse technologies, including some leading edge web platforms. There are a few decent people to work with.

Cons

Hey, have you heard the one about the software company which valued seniority, loyalty, experience and solid contributions? Neither have I, but I have heard this one, "We're staffing up at the home office, but don't worry, your jobs are safe." I heard that one after I'd been there nearly six years. They brought in a bunch of new guys, telling us nothing would change - and then everything did change. The new guys started getting all the interesting work, while the rest of us got the crumbs. We kept being told that no, nobody was working on the new platform - yet somehow it got written anyway. I complained about the mushroom treatment, and a month later I got my walking papers. No warning, no conversations about how my behavior was expected to change, just, "We have decided to terminate our arrangement." They've got some good technology, and no idea what to do with it. Every few months the Marketing Department says, "We could sell ten thousand seats if we just had..." So everybody turns 180 degrees to work on something that will be dropped the next time Marketing makes the same, old pitch. There's a difference between "Agile Development" and "Drunken Stumbling." Proscape is a great example of the latter.
