Pros

This is not a place for someone who expects to sit back, relax, and have many easy days. Succeeding at Proscape takes gumption and entrepreneurial spirit. The technology industry is constantly changing at a fast pace, and if you don't keep up, you'll get lost. I have seen people come and go during my time, but the ones who remain have something in common: passion for the company and ideas for the future. I've worked at Proscape for a little over four years, starting at the bottom as an intern and working up to a management position. I saw many changes during that time, and consider most of them as changes for the better. It's how you react, embrace, and take advantage of those changes that makes a difference in your overall happiness in the workplace. I have always felt welcome among the group of driven and supportive people who work here. My projects have been challenging, but also rewarding. The periodic company events, team building games, and happy hours work to strengthen the synergy between employees. There is also an incredible sense of understanding and flexibility among the team when it comes to personal life. The company is currently experiencing an exciting time of growth, and I'm sure there will be great things to come. This is a good place to get hands-on experience in the growing tech market, and what you decide to do with it is completely up to you. Proscape gave me the opportunity to stretch my wings, and I was happy with my experience.

Cons

Be ready to work very hard to get your voice heard. It takes time to earn respect for your ideas. And then it's up to you to follow-through and make sure they're carried out. Priorities and goals can change direction very quickly, and it becomes a challenge to make sure projects are finished on time to meet deadlines. You need to speak up if you want to get something done, especially if the brunt of the work relies on your team. Some processes need a little more organization and thought, but this has been improving recently. You can't be sensitive to criticism and feedback. Prepare for blunt comments, occasional high amounts of stress, and working late every now and then. But if you keep a level head and are open to other perspectives, you'll be fine.

Chaos, Frustration, Stress

Pros

If you want to produce anything worth listing on a resume, do not take a job here. I had a bad feeling from the interview all the way up until the last day. They are looking good on their site (because another company handles that now), but they're a sinking ship.

Cons

Priorities change almost daily and everything that's produced gets all new requirements as soon as upper management sees it - and eventually, they dictate every detail themselves, not trusting their staff (who they hired for their experience) to do their jobs.
