Pros

The experience is the best part of the job. Getting to work with doctors and patients all day is an amazing experience.

Cons

Training/tests were tough, but very doable if you study adequately. Also, low pay is a con. Scheduling can also be sometimes a problem.

Pros

You learn a lot on the ground, make great connections and meet the right people.

Cons

The pay is terrible, the stress is not so much stress but there is many charts to keep up with. The ED is not the stress they mean, it is that there is so many medical staff and you are the only scribe so what is stressful is the millions of words you type not so much anything else. Do not make this you only income, is the mistake a lot make. They do not offer full time off the bat like they state.
