A breath of fresh air and a place to grow

Pros

I feel so lucky to have found my place in such a supportive, encouraging environment. Previously in my career, I’ve worked for companies that cared only about the bottom line. Prosource prioritizes a positive team culture and employee experience as keys to their overall success, and that’s a difference you can feel. In my role, I feel supported by my manager, and I have access to the tools I need to do my job well and continue to grow as a professional. From day one, Prosource sets up employees to get to know key people across other roles and departments, which has really helped give me see how my work fits into the bigger picture. As an employee, I also feel supported as a person, with benefits that make work-life balance possible, which is a breath of fresh air. Overall, I’m thankful to be part of a company where I can see the potential for long-term growth in my career.

Cons

- Sometimes, the flow of information can get stuck, though internal communications and meetings try to keep everyone in the loop.

Pros

Fairly decent learning environment. Great culture when it's fully staffed

Cons

Incredibly high turnover rate in the past year. Cutting lunches and forcing overtime to make up for their lack of being able to hire replacements for the people they have lost.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review and giving us an opportunity to address your concerns. There have been changes to our IT staff over the past year with four people leaving the team, each for different reasons. We understand that our teams are small enough that losing even just one person creates challenges, which is why we have been so invested in bringing on additional highly skilled Associates to our team to manage the workload and support our growing client base. We also recognize that while the changes to hours and lunches are temporary, they have a big impact on your workday and overall employee experience. We are working to lessen that impact. With lunches temporarily being reduced in duration, Prosource is supplying lunch for all staff during this period. These temporary changes are due not to poor management but rather to incredible growth. With our IT division growing so quickly over the past year, finding skilled technicians with the right culture fit is a priority – not just from a business perspective, but from a team perspective as well. Your experience matters to us, and we’d like to continue this conversation with you however you are most comfortable, whether through your manager or Ellen, Recruitment and Talent Manager.
