      Stay Away If You Are A Project Manager

      Competitive Pay, Generous Benefits Package

      Cons

      The organization does not value project management or project managers. Project schedules are maintained in excel and projects are at times managed with "to-do" lists. Upper management is not receptive to change. They ignore suggestions from lower level managers. Culture in the Project Management department can be dictatorial.

      Management is very unprofessional and untrained. Training is non-existent.

      Pros

      I liked the Mission Statement and the "Core Values" were in alignment with my personal values. Benefits were good. Overall I could see the focus was for the patients.

      Cons

      Management in clinics, lack of compassion (which is one of the core values), no rapport between team members, poor compensation (I never made what I was worth, skills and experience) and annual raises are a joke at 1%!! - I was loaded with duties and tasks that I wasn't compensated for, and not properly trained to handle, stress was high everywhere at Providence (or so it seemed, I worked in about 4 different departments within 8yrs), I was looking for growth opportunities, proved to be very difficult even though they encourage hiring from within.
