Pros

The company has a great mission and values. I've been with the company over 5 years and have met some of my good friends through this company. The people kept me staying because most of the people I run across are genuine caring people who care for their patients and their coworkers.

Cons

My current manager could use better coaching and leadership skills to develop the staff to their full potential. Staff meetings and 1:1s aren't as engaging or productive and I personally feel the meetings are there to make sure everyone is still alive and have some coworkers talk just to be heard. My team hasn't met it's numbers in at least 3 months and I wouldn't be surprised if it was longer. This isn't because my team and I are bad at what we do but the expectations are too high. My team have lost seniors because they are under utilizing them and most of us are burnt out and are still expected to go full blast on our job duties. This job is an marathon and not a sprint.

Pros

Paid on time, clean, and benefits are not to bad

Cons

Poor Management, communication, and follow up. Always changing your job responsibilities, and not clear on the role you are in. Constant change, once you get settled in they change your title, where you sit, etc. Constant turnaround in management, and extreme micro-managing in the human resources/recruiting area. They claim to practice great ethics and values but they do not.

Pros

Can have decent wages for those that have been long term employees. Some departments offer flexible schedules. Organization wants to retain staff as a goal, although hourly workers can be treated very poorly in certain departments.

Cons

Rampant nepotism, dysfunctional leadership is allowed to continue in their positions of power even though they abuse it.
