Pros

This is one of the most fantastic companies I have ever worked for. They lead their employees in a way that encourages you to do good work because you work with good people. From day one that leadership team encourages conversations about what your goals are and how they can help you reach them. This provides a high sense of psychological safety and trust, which leads to a company that produces excellent work. Because it is a fast-growing company there is a lot of room to stretch in your role and learn new things about other departments within the business. There is also a lot of transparency between high-level leadership and staff which allows for growth. You will work with some of the best people in Nashville (and outside of Nashville) and as a result, even if you're an expert in your field, you will continue to learn from your peers. Everyone is willing to lean in when things get fast or chaotic or busy, but there is a willingness to allow for space when you need it.

Cons

Because it is still a young and fast-growing company there can be a lack of systems in place. This can be a little confusing, especially if you came from a company that operated within systems and processes before. A lot of people wear a lot of hats, which can make it difficult to figure out who owns what. It is a fast-moving company, which can lead to a fail-fast mentality which can be a little stressful. Ultimately, the pros outweigh the cons and I am grateful to work for this company.

Pros

ProviderTrust is a truly great place to work. People here care deeply about doing good work but also value your personal wellbeing over profits. I've worked at companies with unlimited PTO polices that subtly (and not-so-subtly) encourage employees to work through PTO or not take any at all. It couldn't be more different here. ProviderTrust is one of those rare workplaces where you're valued for who you are as a human, not just how much work you can grind out. I've seen the people here show up for one another in countless ways, big and small. My coworkers are some of the most inspiring people I know and it's a privilege to work with them.

Cons

We're trying new things and learning every day, and sometimes we fail. Life at ProviderTrust is not without growing pains. The pros far outweigh the cons and leadership does a great job of owning it when things don't work and course-correcting based on employee feedback.
