Pros

The job descriptions are right on-target for job expectations, Prowess is very communicative regardless of where you are placed, the pay was on-target with job expectations, the benefits are great, and the IT department is amazing at getting all, if any, technological issues resolved promptly.

Cons

As a contractor you can sometimes feel disconnected from the Prowess team when placed somewhere other than the Bellevue office.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback and for taking the time to leave a review. It is so encouraging for me to hear that we met your expectations while you were at Prowess. Thanks for sharing your idea about extending our network beyond our walls to support outplacement and furthering peoples’ career paths. We can do more to make intros and help you get more momentum on the way out. It is sometimes hard to remember to look up from our own navels and reach outside to our friends and even our “frenemies.” Thanks again for your review. -Aaron Suzuki, CEO

Good Place to Work

Pros

They treat their employees well and have a low turnover rate. Overall nice people to work with. The pay is competitive, health insurance is great, benefits are good. The office space is nice, and you may have the option to work remote depending on your department and duration of employment.

Cons

The office culture is relaxed but traditional, and unfortunately seniority takes precedent over skill or experience. I have less vacation and sick time than at previous jobs, and some departments work overtime regularly. The work itself is generally uninteresting.

I regret when any employee’s efforts are being ignored and disregarded. I maintain an open door policy and I welcome you to approach me directly about it. Find me or put time on my calendar. Our goal is to create a high trust environment. That doesn’t mean we can act on 100% of everyone’s ideas, but I want to at least hear them all and if we can’t act on yours, I want you to understand why. - Aaron Suzuki, CEO
