Pros

Proxima has a company culture like none other. There are opportunities for growth and cross-functional partnerships at every level. These efforts are noticed by members of leadership prompting promotions, raises, new opportunities, and internal and external recognition. The company has huge growth ambitions and is expanding it’s service lines into emerging areas that will continue to bring new and exciting clients and projects into the firm globally. This forward-thinking mentality will differentiate Proxima from its competition for years to come. Internally, there are some amazing groups of people who are ensuring items are top of leadership’s agenda. Big strides in diversity and inclusion, ESG initiatives, and work-life balance are being made.

Cons

It’s no question Proxima has encountered hurdles that they are in the process of overcoming. This company has leaders who truly care about making and implementing positive changes into the company, and are actively listening to employee feedback to guide the company in a positive direction. I am hopeful the outcomes of these efforts will show through imminently. The company has and is experiencing unprecedented levels of growth, and growing pains are an expected part of the process. Change is inevitable when a company gets to this level.

Pros

A fantastic team of mid level employees who truly care for each other.

Cons

-Upper level management relying on half truth and subterfuge when relating to their employees. -An acknowledged disinterest in improving employee satisfaction. Management favors half steps like happy hours, or having a bar in the office, but does not address real employee concerns like COVID safety, or the financial stability of the company. - Middling pay and benefits, limited opportunity for growth and development.
