They say they want to advance employees but opportunities to move up within the company are rare unless you have a good direct manager. Every process goes to corporate and higher management, nothing is managed within each location

Sevice and quality has dropped severely

They wash then weekly but that is it.

Up until a year ago if the FR rated pants got frayed torn or just really worn out they would replace with new. I recently turned in 4 pairs of pants for replacement and instead of new they gave me 4 pair that were worse than what I turned in. I question the two prudential reps and they said you get what ever we have handy and blew me off. Horrible customer service. So to qualify my opinion. FR stands for fire rated. after so many washes they lose the fire rated chemical treatment. when they wear out, get frayed torn or damaged in any way they are no longer PPE (personal protective equipment.).These are no longer meeting the standards we require. I am on two Safety committees and we are currently in discussions with our management to discuss this as several workers are complaining of safety issues.

Never a shortage of work, good benefits, a guaranteed 40 hour work week, and weekends off.

Cons

Poor communication amongst management, company does not follow its own practices and procedures when workload is high, very limited on space in some environments, wants to quantify all aspects of the job, and takes punctuality VERY seriously.
