Stop the insanity

Pros

Team mates, 401k with Match. Insurance options Apartments available at select locations. PTO is calculated per pay period, not monthly.

Cons

As a long time tenured Property Manager, this job has changed for the worst. With the introduction of MPV(Multiple Property Visits) and 3 before me, the ability to communicate effectively with the DMs has diminished greatly. MPV leaves locations unsupervised and at greater risk for break-ins and mischief. Training needs to be longer than 9 days! WE are not custodians/landscapers! We are supposed to be helping our customers and creating an atmosphere where the customers/tenants feel safe leaving their items in our care. Instead they are met with empty offices and no idea if there is someone onsite for assistance.

Pros

Flexible days and hours, so that's good. Pay isn't terrible.

Cons

Customers are annoying, of course. Having to clean up after people sucks. Some DMs help, others don't.

Pros

*Consistent hours with plenty of overtime options. *Work remotely from home. *Bonus through sales incentives and competitions. *Uncapped commission. *PTO and paid sick days. *Supportive management.

Cons

*Q&A is graded with AI so if it hears you incorrectly you could fail from one word being incorrect. *Metrics are counted on how many callers you can convert to purchase and to reserve so if someone calls in to just to verify the price on line doesn't want to see if you have better deals over the phone it's still a shopper and you get marked negatively for it. *Mandatory overtime can be hard to manage with home life. *If you have anything going in your personal life this will not be a good position for you adherence is a must. No excuses. *The pay scale for commissions used to be much higher but they changed our pay 2 times over 4 years and it became less every time. Making it harder to earn what was once easy to achieve.
