Pros

Sapient hires incredibly smart and talented people. Some of the most inspiring and enthusiastic beings I've ever met are roaming those hallways

Cons

-For a place with such talented people, the work you get most of the time is the most mundane and soul sucking wastes of time you will ever experience -Project Management have no ability to push back on or set realistic expectations for developers and designers. Sometimes the clients horrific work ethic ends up permeating over to Sapient employees -lack of diversity. Probably about 6 people of color in an office with hundreds. -too much red tape, hard to make any new changes or get taken seriously when wanting to make an impact -it's not about how good you are at your job, it's about how good you are at making it look like you do anything. People spend so much time sliding verbose cards around on Jira to look like they've done something -horrific code bases. Constantly working with the worst practices I've ever seen from project to project -Uninteresting work. Incredibly talented developers only working on client sites to change colors over the course of months -Time cards. It's 2018, who does this anymore? -Identity Crisis. Publicis.Sapient, Sapient RazorFish, combining offices with Digitas. Can't possibly feel a sense of belonging whole the C level execs try to figure out what they wanna call us

Pros

As usual a normal service based company

Cons

This is a typical service based company with no work Life balance, No new technologies , No employee friendly policies and micro management. Sapient has staffing partner for assigning projects to a candidate who's in bench and these staffing partner feel them selves as CEO of the company and they'll torture like anything, time cards- you need to clock atleast 8 hrs, when you clock 7 hrs 59 mins ur time cards will be rejected saying strict policies not completed 8 hrs. Sapient does lot off cost cutting i.e Layoff's
