Pros

The ONLY reason to work at Pulte is for the pay. Poor management policies and decision making skills. Age and sex discrimination run amuck.

Cons

Same as the pro's of working for the company. Too many meetings that result in nothing. Meaningless programs for employee retention and development.

Pros

Worked with other great people, who made it a fun time in the office. Several of the "old-timers" said things were great when the market was great.

Cons

Treated many employees like children (unable to understand information) and management definetly had favorites, who they rewarded and praised every opportunity they could get. Meanwhile others accomplishing the same goals wouldn't get as nuch as a pat on the back.

Used to a great place for employee training when times were great; also used to have excellent perks, like teambuilding trips, quarterly outings, awesome holiday parties, etc. Oh, and the pay was great as well

Cons

Too many strategic initiatives in too short of a timeframe. Yes, a company needs to be responsive to the marketplace, but strategic initiatives can't be assessed correctly if they never get off the ground...
