Pros

Great line level employees who are passionate and really want to serve guests.

Cons

Managers salaries are based off a 50 hour work week. Has employees “check-in” and receive guest surveys in order to manipulate service scores. Always trying to put a band aid on a broken bone. I felt misled thinking I was joining a company that was all about culture and the guest experience. Instead my position was “no longer needed” when I raised concern about unethically filing our guest surveys

Pros

Great co-workers, but not really any other pros

Cons

Senior and regional leadership are clueless; antiquated systems; pretend to treat employees well and care, but it is just lipservice

Pros

Good benefit package (health, dental, vision, 401k)

Cons

From a leadership prospective you are at the whim of those who operate potentially a 1000 miles away and make arbitrary decisions without hands on knowledge of specifics. You are expected to have absolutely zero life outside of the office and no matter how much you give there is no recognition - you are just asked to give more. They pay some of their GM's and AGM's an enormous salary when their hourly employees barely make minimum wage. This happens elsewhere too but in particular some of these GM's & AGM's are not personally performing , are not inspiring leaders but instead berate their underlings while doing nothing themselves to solve problems as a team. Regional and corporate are afraid to fire the most horrible employees who end up being bullet proof and bring down the whole team while others are held to the fire for the most trivial of concerns.
