Pros

Super easy to move up in this place because they don't care how good you are or how much experience you have, they just need to fill spots. Co-workers were AWESOME!!! They worked so hard- basically ran the place. "Higher-ups" were useless. I repeat.....USELESS!

Cons

First of all, the fact that Today, INC was bought out by this huge faceless, thankless company called Pyramid- who knows NOTHING about the mental health/addiction industry. Kids straight out of college could have started a more respectable and effective rehab! Overworked and under paid. PERIOD. Often times you had to do two jobs (for only one paycheck) because they didn't want to hire more staff. The rules for the clients changed weekly. No one could keep up so it appeared (and was) extremely disorganized and as though staff didn't know what they were talking about. Clients complained about this out daily. Upper management was a joke.... half the time THEY didn't even know what was going on or what the rules were. They moved staff's offices around every few weeks (so wherever you are, don't get settled)... NO clue why!? Morale was in the toilet 98% of the time due to being profoundly undervalued by all the outside "higher-ups" who never came by or asked what we needed help with. ***You were truly treated as a number and a means to make them money. Their NUMBER 1 priority was not the clients and most certainly not the staff, but making themselves money. The clients' health and wellness was an after thought and RARELY discussed. which of course left the people who cared baffled and frustrated. Pay was sub-par and if you're sick you use your own vacation days.

Pros

Watching the clients who really, truly want help, get better. The staff that continues to stay there and really, truly does care, are amazing. Some of them have really made a difference, but unfortunately they are few and far between and deserve way better.

Cons

A large chunk of the BHTs come into work high or drunk and management DOES NOT CARE and look the other way. If you are actively using drugs and can't find a job, APPLY HERE! Facility is dirty and disorganized. Poor communication. Slimy staff. Nursing department acts holier than thou. They hire anyone straight off the street to be a counselor. BHTs sit with their feet up on the desk all night on their cell phones. If a client has been there 3 days and wants to leave, the director gives them a successful competition to not look bad. Pay is equal to Wawa with no chance of raise in sight. This place is just a revolving door that sucks money from insurance companies.

Pros

Don't know of any since they never called me to start.

Cons

They held a "hiring event" for opening of a new facility., 2 weeks later brought everyone they hired in for a big paperwork day and to give info for required drug test, physical, fingerprints (which I had to pay for--$50. They gave start date in 3 weeks, then after 2 weeks said they still needed to put off opening, then put it off 3 more times. Fast fwd to Jan 23, still no call to start and upon inquiry I've been told to "do what you have to do for what's best for you"-- in other words, we don"t have any job for you after stringing you along for the last 5 months. What kind of company is this?
