The pay if you’re new to this field

Cons

- upper management will gaslight you, belittle you, and question every decision you make - upper management will openly talk badly about staff in public areas - they provide very little positive feedback - they don’t hold themselves accountable - executive director has to have control over every little thing - you can’t file a complaint about your supervisor without them changing it around to be something you did wrong - many people have left after short time because of the director

Micromanaged and was never allowed to put resident first. It was all about making money and saving money. The state removed them from a building which they had allowed to run down to resemble a pig sty. Feces, on walls, residents lying in feces/urine stained bed. There was holes in the walls, fixtures falling of the walks. The owners and regional operations were aware if this.

Almost all of the staff were extremely unprofessional cursing during groups and at other clients that are seeking help for addiction/mental health. Shame on you! Must work all holidays or request them off. Poor benefit package, paid time off, etc, pay is not acceptable for the amount of work you will do and take home with you! High turn over rate due to burn out because of higher than normal Case loads which would explain why they are understaffed and the staff they do have won’t stay for long! I could write a book but I’ll save my time you have been warned!
