Supportive management and great team, but underpaid and overworked
Pros
Ability to work from home. Extensive insight into the insurance industry and long for the dismantle of it all. Direct management works with you when life happens. As long as you get your job done, all is well. Fantastic team. Love my manager. Pyramid has ambitions and they do provide a great service to the community when there is a high need for the service.
Cons
Same old song and dance. Over worked and under paid. There is a lot that needs done and more gets added every day. A lot of tasks tend to fall on this department which should be directed/managed elsewhere. Going rates for this position go about 10-20k a year more elsewhere. Paid time off is abysmal. Be prepared to use it for holidays off. If it is Monday-Friday, you are working or using PTO no matter what day it is. The health plan is not great. The world is the way it is, the system keeps it this way.
